Blogthings 1: Right or Left?
I'm blogging again.. Pero puro blogthings muna ipopost ko. =)
| You Are 50% Left Brained, 50% Right Brained |
![]() The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning. Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others. In Need Of A Break
I need a break. Not just any kind of break/vacation. I need some sort of a recollection/retreat. I need time to really talk to Him again. I need to recharge and sort things out again..
Back in college, the song below was one of my favorite inspirational music.. But only now do I realize the true meaning of these words...
"Tired of weaving dreams too loose for me to wear
Tired of watching clouds repeat their dance on air
Tired of getting tired of doing what's required
Is life a mere routine in the greater scheme of things
Through with taking roads someone else designed
Through with chasing stars that soon forget to shine
Through with going through one more day - what's new
Does my life still mean a thing in the greater scheme of things
I think I'll follow the voice that calls within
Dance to the silent song it sings
I hope to find my place
So my life can fall in place
I know in time I'll find my place
In the greater scheme of things
Each must go his way, but how can I decide
Which path I should take, who will be my guide
I need some kind of star to lead me somewhere far
To find a higher dream in the greater scheme of things
The road before me bends, I don't know what I'll find
Will I meet a friend or ghosts I left behind
Should I even be surprised that You're with me in disguise
For it's Your hand I have seen in the greater scheme of things"
I hope I could have the break that i've been needing for...

Goodbye Potterboy
The tale of Harry Potter has finally come to it's end. Im done reading the book and i'm so satisfied and content with the way it was "ended". Can't think of any better way to conclude it. I'm not gonna detail it for the benefit of those who haven't reached that part. =D
As I've said, Im content with the ending, i am happy, feeling victorious, in fact! But somehow, I can't put off this melancholic feeling.. It's sad that 1, 2, 3 yrs down the road, there isn't going to be a Book 8 to anticipate for. I'm really going to miss the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.. im gonna miss their escapades under the Invisibility Cloak, Hogwarts, The Weasleys, their magical spells, their unending discoveries and adventues, etc, etc....
Well.. It's not that I want a Book 8 or something. Actually, overkill na may pag Book 8 pa talaga. And parang I don't want a sequel to the book anymore. The story ended with everyone happy. That's enough. That's great. A sequel would mean facing combats and chaos again. As if we've never had enough of those in the previous books. So tama na, happy na sila at okay na yun.
What I'm saying is, im really just gonna miss the feeling... the anticipation, excitement, sadness, anger, fear, kilig, happiness. No book has ever made me feel these series of emotions.. No book has ever made me lose sleep out of my own liking.. And really, whenever I recall scenes from any of the HP books, it feels like im zooming in to another world.. a world that really exists somewhere... para akong bata...
But really, Im gonna miss everything that is associated with the HP books..
So Goodbye Potterboy.. for now...

Where's My Koko Duo?
I was looking forward to breakfast this morning when I woke up. I bought a 170g-box of the new Koko Krunch DUO (combination of chocolate and white chocolate cereals) yesterday at the staff shop to make sure that I have a perfect breakfast today and tomorrow.
I even bought lots of milk as Koko Duo comes best with it. I so love the white chocolate cereals! I wish they would come up with a white chocolate cereal only.
But when I opened the ref this morning, I saw an empty aluminum foil bag (or whatever you call that, basta the bag that holds the cereals inside the box). My two brothers are the culprit! They finished the 170g-box in one night! Wuhuhuhu! They just left a few chocolate cereals and less than 5 white chocolate cereals.. So much for perfect breakfast..
Needless to say, even non-chocolate lovers like my brothers really loved the new Koko Duo (obvious ba, inubusan kaya ako?!). Maybe next time, I should buy 1 Koko Duo box for each of us.
Disclaimer: I am not wearing my Nestle hat as I white this blog. Im writing this post purely as a consumer. Promise!
